How It Works

  1. Submit Your Application:
    Complete the registration form with your details and the necessary documents, including your ID, proof of address, and other required information.

  2. Verification Process:
    After submitting your application, our team will review and verify the information. We want to ensure everything is in order for a smooth listing experience.

  3. Approval Notification:
    Once verified, you’ll receive an email confirming your registration. If everything is good to go, you’ll be able to list your property and start accepting bookings. If there’s anything missing, we’ll guide you on the next steps.

Terms and Conditions for Hosts

1. General Terms

1.1. These terms apply to all hosts who list their accommodations on Puppy Rooms.
1.2. Puppy Rooms provides a secure platform to connect hosts with guests, ensuring a smooth booking experience for both parties.
1.3. By listing your property and accepting bookings, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Property Listings

2.1. Hosts must provide accurate and truthful information about their property, including location, pricing, availability, and property conditions.
2.2. Hosts are responsible for keeping their listings up to date and ensuring that the property details remain accurate.
2.3. Puppy Rooms reserves the right to remove any listings that violate our terms, including misleading or false information.

3. Booking & Payments

3.1. Once a booking is confirmed, it means the guest has already paid a 10% reservation fee to Puppy Rooms, which is considered a service fee.
3.2. You, as the host, will receive the remaining 90% of the total booking cost when the guest checks into the property. If the guest pays the full amount via the website, the 90% will be transferred to you after the guest’s checkout as your earnings.
3.3. Payments will be made in US Dollars (USD) or Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) based on the exchange rate on the check-in date. Hosts may also accept additional currencies if agreed upon before the booking.

4. Cancellations

4.1. Hosts cannot cancel a confirmed booking unilaterally. If you need to cancel a booking, you must first contact the guest and explain the situation.
4.2. Before canceling any confirmed booking, you must contact the guest and inform them of the cancellation. Additionally, you need to reach out to the Puppy Rooms support team to assist with the process and avoid any complications.
4.3. Puppy Rooms will assist in resolving the issue, but the responsibility to communicate with the guest lies with the host.

5. Host Responsibilities

5.1. Hosts are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the property listing and for providing a comfortable, safe, and clean environment for guests.
5.2. Hosts must respond promptly to booking requests and inquiries from guests.
5.3. If there are any issues with the property during a guest’s stay, hosts should address them promptly and communicate with the guest to ensure a positive experience.
5.4. Any disputes or complaints raised by guests should be reported to the Puppy Rooms support team if assistance is needed.

6. Liability & Disputes

6.1. Puppy Rooms is a platform that connects guests with hosts but is not responsible for any disputes or issues related to property conditions or guest stays.
6.2. Hosts are fully responsible for any damage or loss to the property during a guest’s stay and must handle such issues directly with the guest.
6.3. In the event of disputes, we encourage hosts and guests to resolve issues directly. If assistance is needed, Puppy Rooms support is available to mediate and assist.
